Andy Ruben believes that the wealth of things we've been amassing over the years could be put to better use. As co-founder of Yerdle, Ruben aims to reduce the number of new items purchased by 25 percent. Prior to Yerdle he spent 10 years at Walmart, where he was widely recognized for leading their sustainability efforts. As Walmart’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, Ruben's efficient tweaks altered the business plans of over 60,000 suppliers across hundreds of industries.

Ruben graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA, both from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been recognized professionally as the Sam M. Walton Entrepreneur of the Year, a Retailing Rising Star by Chain Store Age, and a 40 Under 40 Business Leader.
