Former CEO, Solaria

As the CEO of Solaria Corporation, Dan Shugar led the solar company’s amazing annual revenue growth within three years. He has spent 27 years advancing the renewable energy sector in a variety of positions. Prior to Solaria, he was President of SunPower/PowerLight Corporations, where he oversaw growth from less than $1 million to $830 million and was responsible for the completion of over 500 projects serving commercial, industrial and utility clients worldwide. He has invented various PV system applications, holds multiple U.S. patents and has published over 50 technical papers.

Shugar holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Golden Gate University, and serves on the board of the Sierra Club Foundation.
