Jonathan Wolfson

CEO, Solazyme

As the CEO of Solazyme, Jonathan Wolfson is working to solve some of the world’s biggest problems with one of its smallest and most ancient life forms: microalgae. The company is using a breakthrough process to revolutionize the way the world makes oil. In founding Solazyme, Wolfson brought with him experience from a variety of positions in finance, business and law, most recently that of Vice President of Finance and Business Development for 7thOnline, Inc., a supply chain software company. Immediately prior to that Mr. Wolfson was co-founder and chief operating officer of InvestorTree, Inc., a financial services software company.

Wolfson obtained a law degree from New York University School of Law and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
