Agencies ... need to be educating the public on how to conserve water because we don’t know what we’ll have tomorrow.
John Coleman believes the future of California water is in above ground storage. As a member of the East Bay Municipal Utility District Board of Directors, Coleman has strived to facilitate accessible water for East Bay residents for over two decades. Coleman also serves as President of the Association of California Water Agencies, a statewide coalition of public water agencies. Recently, the ACWA has been proactive in teaching the California public the importance of conserving water during the drought.
Coleman served Governors Wilson and Davis as Deputy Director of External Affairs for the California Conservation Corps. Coleman is the CEO of the Bay Planning Coalition, located in Oakland.
