Ambassador Todd Stern Responds to Abigail Borah

In December 2011, college student Abigail Borah spoke up at a U.N. Climate Change Conference in Durban, South Africa. Borah exclaimed, "2020 is too late to wait. We need an urgent path to a fair ambitious and legally binding treaty. You must take responsibility to act now, or you will threaten the lives of the youth and the world's most vulnerable." Here, Ambassador Todd Stern takes a moment to respond to Borah's statements made years earlier. "Well, I think a lot of people feel it's not happening fast enough. I sympathize with that," says Stern. "I agree, progress is not being made quickly enough."
