Ben Santer on Having Hope

Climate scientist Ben Santer is often asked if he is profoundly depressed when he goes into work in the mornings.  While Santer has seen our atmosphere warm, he says he has also seen a shift in public understanding.  "We've moved from denying the science to informed discussions on what to do about it.  That makes me extremely hopeful, actually," says Santer.
