Eating Seafood After Fukushima


After the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011, the quality of seafood from the Pacific Ocean has been called into question countless times.  "Since the accident, Berkeley has been monitoring independently radiation levels," says Per Peterson, Professor of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley, and those levels are "10,000 times less than the naturally occurring potassium-40."
