Fire Regulations for Nuclear Power Plants

Description

"Roughly half the plants in the United States don't meet fire protection regulations," says Dave Lochbaum, Director of the Nuclear Safety Project at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Among the non-fire safety compliant plants are Diablo Canyon and Oconee, which the Union of Concerned Scientists believes should be shut down for safety reasons.
