The Impacts of Climate Change on Wine Production

Description

"As climate shifts, there will be some places where wine grapes are growing today that won't be suitable for wine grapes in the future," said Rebecca Shaw, Associate Vice President for Environmental Defense Fund and a lead IPCC author.  According to Shaw's study, wine grape growers will need to do a variety of things to adapt to climate change to reduce their risk, including moving grape fields north or up hills where the climate is more agreeable.
