Overselling the Fracking Boom

There is a lot of debate over the climate benefits and downfalls of fracking.  "The factor that people don't take into account though, in looking at natural gas' role in reducing emissions directly, is that when natural gas got a lot cheaper, people started using more of it," says Trevor Houser, co-author of Fueling Up.  According to Houser, the oil and gas industry has oversold the benefits of fracking, while environmental groups oversell fracking's consequences.
