Peter Gleick on the History of Water Conflicts

Description

Author Peter Gleick discusses how water has been causing conflicts between people for thousands of years.  Gleick mentions that many of the areas with conflict today are the same areas that have been having conflicts for generations.  "I think as the world grows, as populations grow, as economy grows, as demand for water grows the scarcity of water is more and more likely to lead to conflicts of one kind or another," said Gleick.
