Alexander Zwissler

Principal, Einstellung Labs

As the Principal at Einstellung Labs, Alexander Zwissler is working at the intersection of the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. His work helps complex organizations solve difficult problems in program development, business plan development, and community engagement. To his current role, he brings a wealth of experience. As the former CEO of Chabot Space & Science Center, he led the development of new programs in climate change education including Bill Nye’s Climate Lab and the Climate Change Teachers Institute. Prior to Chabot, Zwissler was the Executive Director of the Fort Mason Foundation in San Francisco which he joined after a 17-year career as a senior executive in the cable television and telecommunications industry in the US and the UK.

Zwissler serves on the leadership of several non-profits including Cool the Earth, the Climate Readiness Institute and is a Commissioner on the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission.  Zwissler earned a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
