There are people who live every single day on the front lines of climate change and on the front lines of the operations of the fossil fuel industry.
Antonia Juhasz is there to shine a light on the fossil fuel industry, especially when it steps backwards. As the Author of Black Tide, Juhasz investigated the causes and consequences of the BP disaster in the Gulf, the largest offshore drilling oil spill in world history. Drawing from this knowledge base, she has earned funding and fellowships to continue on-the-ground investigations into the ongoing impacts of the BP gulf oil spill.
Juhasz holds a master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University. She is the author of The Tyranny of Oil and The Bush Agenda.
I don’t own a car. I’ve never owned a car because I have the advantage of living in major cities within the United States, which have world-class public transit systems.
