2016 Republican Candidate for U.S. Senate

As a candidate for U.S. Senate, Duf Sundheim has a record of working across the aisle to implement historic redistricting, pension and education reforms. Sundheim brings with him the expertise of being a federal court approved mediator and state court settlement judge who strongly believes our best days are ahead of us if we are able to shift our focus from confrontation to collaboration. As Chairman of the California Republican Party from 2003-2007, Sundheim set numerous records, from raising over $100 million for Republican candidates and causes to playing a key role in the only successful recall of a sitting Governor in the history of the state. During his time in that position, Republicans obtained 27% of the African-American vote, 39% of the Hispanic vote, a majority of the women’s vote and 62% of the Asian vote.

Sundheim has also has received numerous national and state awards, including a national award for the best voter registration program in the country and California State Bar Pro Bono Award for his work in underserved communities.
