Jean Fuller

California State Senator (R-Bakersfield)

Climate change is making us have droughts more regularly than we’ve had in the past. And we all need to get real, all of us, not just the legislature but all of us, about how we plan for the water in the future.

Senator Jean Fuller recognizes that sound, scientific arguments for sustainability are the most persuasive to a frugal public. As the representative for the 32nd Assembly District of California, Fuller served as leader on the Republican Water Policy Team. The team sought after solutions for California's water predicament that would satisfy not only California families but farmers and businesses as well. In 2010 Fuller was elected state senator representing the 18th Senate District and quickly became the Vice Chair of the Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee. Recently, Fuller has been recognized in the Senate as the California Communications Association Legislator of the Year.
