Liana Berlin-Fischler is the Associate Director of the Center for Applied Environmental Diplomacy (CAED) at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, where she leads cross-border initiatives that unite Israelis, Palestinians, and Jordanians around shared environmental challenges. Her work focuses on translating environmental collaboration into policy influence, regional resilience, and pathways for peace through applied environmental diplomacy.
Liana also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Laguna Innovation (www.lagunainnovation.com), overseeing strategic operations, business development, and organizational planning to scale off-grid wastewater treatment and reuse solutions.
She holds a BA in Media Arts and Social Change from the University of Maryland, an MA in Environmental Studies from Tel Aviv University, and certifications in permaculture and business design leadership.
