Liz Taylor

President, DOER Marine

Liz Taylor is a sub-sea concierge. As the President of DOER Marine, Taylor has grown the consulting and field services firm to a full service engineering solutions company over the past 17 years. She oversees everything from business development to educational outreach when working with the firm’s clients, which include marine contracting firms, commercial diving companies, and oil and gas service companies. Currently the firm is focusing on Project Deepsearch, an endeavor to build a human occupied submersible capable of full ocean depth. Taylor’s philosophy for DOER is to “make a dollar but make a difference.” To that end, the company works to implement internship programs and to disseminate findings of research and field projects with the scientific community.

Taylor has been on expeditions throughout Alaska, the Pacific Islands and Bermuda. She has been a member of the Marine Technology Society education committee.
