Rylee Brooke Kamahele has been committed to volunteering and advocating for the protection of animals, the ocean, the environment, the homeless, and empowering youth leaders in her community since she was eight years old. In 2016, Kamahele founded three organizations, The Secret Santa Project Hawaiʻi, Love is a Verb Foundation, and Promise to our Keiki, which have since grown into The Catalyst's Club, an umbrella nonprofit for what is now eight youth-run organizations, each with their own programs that meet the needs of the community in different ways. The overarching mission of The Catalyst's Club is to create and provide opportunities for children and youth to be a catalyst for change that makes a positive impact on the world.
