Shohreh Karimipour is a former Regional Water Engineer with the New York State Environmental Conservation Department. Her 30 years of experience in water resource engineering span from regulatory water quality and quantity programs in the Hudson River Valley and the Catskill Forest to the Statewide stormwater design standards and watershed management. Her areas of interest include stormwater modeling, green infrastructure and retrofit to achieve protection of water resources, climate change adaptation and resiliency.
