Steven Wadsworth is Vice Chairman of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe. After growing up in Southern California and Oregon, he attended The University of Oregon. He relocated to the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe in 2005 and began his journey. This included jobs as the Domestic Violence Secretary and then as the Secretary for the Pyramid Lake Tribal Health Clinic for four years. He then spent three years as the Senior Services Director, before finally landing at his current position of IT Technician with the Tribe. 

Never content with only serving the Tribe with his 9-to-5, Wadsworth has held many positions on Committees during his tenure. These include the Law & Order Committee, Gaming Commission, Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, Fisheries Board, and serving as Chairman of the Tribes LLC from 2012 through 2014. He was a member of the Tribal Council from 2011 through 2013. Currently he serves his community as a Board of Education Member and Chairman of the Numu Inc. Section 17 corporation. 

Wadsworth's greatest pride comes from serving as the Vice Chairman of the Tribe, where his fellow Tribal Members have elected him for two terms, once in 2021 and again in 2023. He looks forward to continuing to provide guidance and fresh ideas to carry his fellow members into the future. Most importantly he continues to work with his peers on Council and the Membership in protecting Pyramid Lake for time indefinite.
