Virginie Le Masson

Dr. Virginie Le Masson, Co-Director of the Centre for Gender and Disaster at University College London, is a geographer by training, and a research fellow working on gender inequalities and violence-related risks in places affected by environmental changes and disasters. Le Masson is also a Research Associate at ODI, a development think tank based in London. In 2017, she co-edited a book (Routledge) with Prof. Susan Buckingham on the importance of addressing climate change with attention to gender relations and power relationships.
