Katie Fehrenbacher

Katie Fehrenbacher has devoted her journalism career to covering green technology. She's been a reporter for Fortune, GigaOM, Red Herring and Engadget and began her career as a reporter in the Silicon Valley bureau of the Japanese daily newspaper the Yomiuri Shimbun.

During her time with GigaOm, Katie launched the media company's greentech channel, where she closely tracked energy entrepreneurs and investors. Katie is currently a Senior Writer & Analyst covering transportation for GreenBiz and leads the transportation focus for the VERGE conference. Her work has also appeared in Bloomberg, The Guardian, and The New York Times.
